I love online shopping! I would rather shop online than actually get out of my pajamas, do my hair, and drive to the store. I don’t even remember actually going to the store and trying on clothes. I keep up with all my measurements and order all of my clothes online. The day that I stumbled on the Klarna app!

I leaped for joy!
For those of you who don’t know, Klarna is like a lay-a-way plan. You get all of your clothes in the mail you order and you can make payments on it. One time I bought almost $1,000 worth of clothes. Got all of my outfits and made all the payments a little at a time. Amazing right!
Well, my question for some of you is: are you using God like a lay away plan? Instead of giving yourself all to Him at one time, you are giving Him small increments of yourself? It is important to give all of ourselves to God, not just a small portion at a time.
Matthew 22:37, Jesus tells us, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.”
Giving Your Heart, Mind, and Soul
Let’s explore the idea of giving our heart, mind, and soul entirely to God. In Matthew 22:37, Jesus tells us, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” This commandment requires wholehearted devotion and commitment to God. When we give all of ourselves to Him, we experience true freedom and fulfillment in our faith journey. God wants all of us. Not a piece here and piece there. It is a process. The ultimate goal is to give our entire life to God. . This act of submission involves surrendering one’s own desires, ambitions, and will to the lordship of Jesus Christ. Submission begins with acknowledging that God knows what is best for us. It requires humility and a willingness to let go of our own plans and desires. When we submit, we align ourselves with God’s will, allowing His purpose to unfold in our lives.
You want to give him reign over your issues with your parents. However, that addiction you have to wine; God can’t touch that! You pray to God to have His way over your job that you are so stressed about. But what about that husband that always sleeps on the couch and won’t talk to you anymore? You have yet to pray over your marriage. God doesn’t want you to pick and choose what you yield to Him. He wants it ALL! . This act of submission involves surrendering one’s own desires, ambitions, and will to the lordship of Jesus Christ. It is a profound acknowledgment of Christ’s authority. It is also a willingness to be led by His Spirit in all aspects of life when you submit to Him.
If you can trust God with one area of your life, you can trust God with every corner. You can trust Him with every angle of your life. In Job 22:21 NIV Submit to God and be at peace with him; in this way prosperity will come to you. This verse reminds us that submission leads to peace: “Submit to God and be at peace with him.” When we surrender our worries and fears to God, we experience a profound sense of tranquility .Philippians 4:6-7 encourages us, saying, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” In submission, we find rest for our souls as we trust in His perfect plan.
Submission is not about losing control but gaining peace and direction. It is an invitation to trust in God’s goodness and faithfulness. May we strive to submit our lives fully to Him, knowing that in doing so, we will experience His peace and blessings.
